The Philips Hue Secure Floodlight Camera combines a powerful 2,250-lumen color floodlight with a 1080p HD security camera in a single outdoor-rated unit. The device is essentially two products sharing a common base and power supply: a Zigbee-enabled color floodlight that integrates into your Hue lighting network, and a security camera with a 141.2-degree field of view, motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio via built-in microphone and speaker.

The floodlight portion uses Zigbee connectivity, leveraging your existing Hue lights as stepping stones to extend network coverage throughout your property. This allows the floodlight to participate in lighting scenes, automations, and entertainment areas just like any other Hue color light. The camera component connects via WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and offers all the smart security features of the standard Hue Secure Camera, including real-time motion notifications, infrared night vision, and end-to-end encryption for privacy.

The integrated design means when motion is detected, both the floodlight and camera can respond automatically - illuminating the area while capturing footage of any activity. Like other Hue Secure cameras, you get 24 hours of free video history, with optional paid subscriptions for extended cloud storage and AI-powered object detection for people, animals, vehicles, and packages.
