Step-by-Step Installation

1. Charge the motor: Fully charge SOMA Smart Shades 2 using the included USB cable. Takes approximately 4 hours.
2. Install the SOMA app: Download from App Store or Google Play. Create an account.
3. Remove existing shade: Take down your current roller shade from its brackets.
4. Attach SOMA motor: Slide the SOMA motor onto one end of your shade's roller tube. It fits standard tubes.
5. Install adapter if needed: Use the included adapters for different tube sizes (25mm, 32mm, 38mm).
6. Reinstall the shade: Mount the shade back in the brackets with the SOMA motor on one end.
7. Pair with app: Open SOMA app, tap "Add Device." Press the button on the SOMA motor to enter pairing mode.
8. Calibrate positions: Use the app to set fully open and fully closed positions for your shade.
9. Set up SOMA Connect (optional): For HomeKit and voice control, plug in the SOMA Connect hub and add it in the app.
