Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Fully charge the blind: Use the included USB cable. Full charge takes about 8 hours and lasts up to 6 months.
  2. Decide on mounting type: KADRILJ can be inside-mounted (within frame) or outside-mounted (on wall above window).
  3. Position brackets: Place brackets at each end of your mounting area. Ensure they're level with each other.
  4. Drill and secure: Mark holes, drill pilots, and fasten brackets with included screws.
  5. Adjust blind length: Manually roll the blind to set your preferred bottom position before mounting.
  6. Click blind into brackets: Insert the roller tube ends into the brackets until they click.
  7. Test operation: Pull to lower, tug to raise. Verify smooth operation.
  8. Add to IKEA Home Smart: Open the app, select "Add Device" > "Blinds." Press the pairing button on the blind.
  9. Set positions: Calibrate the fully open and closed positions through the app.
  10. Configure automations: Link to other IKEA devices or create time-based schedules.

Troubleshooting
