What's in the Box

Your Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone package includes the robot vacuum and mop unit, the OMNI Station (featuring auto-empty with cyclone dustbin technology, auto-wash, and hot air drying), two mop pads (pre-attached), a side brush (pre-installed), Ecovacs cleaning solution, the station's power cord, and a quick-start guide. The X11 OmniCyclone introduces a bagless, cyclone-powered dust collection system in the dock, eliminating the need for replacement dust bags and reducing ongoing maintenance costs.

Prerequisites

Before setting up your Deebot X11 OmniCyclone, confirm the following:

  • A flat, hard-surface location near a wall outlet for the OMNI Station — leave at least 2 feet of clearance on each side and 3.5 feet in front for smooth docking and undocking
  • Tap water access for filling the station's clean water tank
  • A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (the robot does not support 5 GHz connections)
  • The ECOVACS HOME app installed on your iOS or Android smartphone
  • An ECOVACS account created in the app

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Position the OMNI Station: Place the docking station against a wall on hard flooring. The cyclone dustbin and mop-washing functions work best on tile, hardwood, or vinyl surfaces. Avoid placing the station on carpet. Plug it in and power it on — the LED indicators will light up to confirm it is ready.
  2. Set up the cyclone dustbin: The X11 OmniCyclone uses a bagless cyclone bin instead of disposable dust bags. Open the station's top compartment and confirm the cyclone dustbin is properly seated. There are no bags to install — simply ensure the bin is clean and the filter inside is in place.
  3. Fill the clean water tank: Remove the clean water tank from the back of the station, fill it with tap water to the maximum line, add Ecovacs cleaning solution if desired, and reinsert. Verify the dirty water tank on the opposite side is empty and properly positioned.
  4. Prepare the robot: Unbox the Deebot X11 OmniCyclone and remove all packaging tape, foam inserts, and protective films. Check that the side brush is attached and the mop pads are firmly connected underneath. Inspect the main brush roller to ensure nothing is tangled or obstructing it.
  5. Place the robot on the dock: Set the robot on the OMNI Station's charging plate, aligning the contacts. Charging begins automatically. Wait for a full charge (approximately 3-4 hours) before the first cleaning session to ensure the robot can complete a full mapping run without interruption.
  6. Add the robot in the app: Open the ECOVACS HOME app, sign in, and tap "+" to add a device. Select "Deebot X11 OmniCyclone" from the device list. Press and hold the auto button on the robot until you hear a pairing tone.
  7. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the app's prompts to select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your password. The robot will confirm the connection with a voice prompt, and it will appear as online in the app.
  8. Map your home: Start the initial cleaning run from the app. The X11 OmniCyclone uses LiDAR navigation and AI-powered obstacle avoidance to create a precise map of your home. Open all interior doors and clear floors of small objects for the most complete map.
  9. Customize settings: After mapping, use the app to name rooms, draw no-go zones and virtual walls, and set room-specific preferences for suction power, mop wetness, and cleaning sequence. You can also configure the OMNI Station's auto-empty, auto-wash, and hot air drying schedules.

Smart Home Integration Tips

The Deebot X11 OmniCyclone supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. Link your ECOVACS account in the respective voice assistant app to start, stop, or schedule cleaning by voice. The ECOVACS HOME app lets you save multi-floor maps if you use the robot on different levels. Take advantage of the bagless cyclone dustbin by simply emptying it periodically rather than purchasing replacement bags — a cost-saving benefit over time.

Quick Troubleshooting

If the robot does not pair, verify you are connected to a 2.4 GHz network and that the robot is charged and powered on. If mapping misses a room, manually navigate the robot to that area using the app's remote control feature. If the cyclone dustbin causes reduced suction, remove it from the station, empty it, and rinse the internal filter under water (allow the filter to dry fully before reinstalling). If mop pads are not wetting properly, check the clean water tank level and verify a mopping mode is active in the app. Wipe charging contacts on both the robot and station with a dry cloth if the robot does not charge when docked.
