How to Set Up Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Position Omni Station: Place against wall on hard floor with 0.5m side clearance and 1.5m front clearance.
  2. Set up water tanks: Fill clean water tank and install. Ensure dirty water tank is empty and in place.
  3. Connect station power: Plug in the Omni Station. Status light turns on.
  4. Prepare robot: Remove all packaging. Attach the two mop pads to the bottom.
  5. Place on station: Dock the robot. It powers on with a voice prompt.
  6. Download Ecovacs Home app: Install from your app store and create an account.
  7. Add robot: Tap "+" and select "Deebot X2 Omni." Follow pairing instructions.
  8. Connect WiFi: The app guides you through network connection. Use 2.4GHz WiFi.
  9. Initial mapping: Start a mapping clean. The square design navigates corners efficiently.
  10. Customize settings: Define rooms, set suction/mop levels, create schedules.

Troubleshooting

  • Gets stuck in corners: Despite square design, very tight corners may trap it. Use virtual boundaries.
  • App won't connect: Reset WiFi by holding reset button 3 seconds. Re-add in app.
