Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Unpack the sensor: Remove from packaging and locate the battery tab.
  2. Activate battery: Pull the battery tab to power on the sensor.
  3. Open Matter controller: Apple Home, Google Home, or other compatible app.
  4. Add device: Tap "+" to add a new accessory.
  5. Scan Matter code: Find the QR code on the sensor or packaging and scan it.
  6. Wait for pairing: The sensor will connect via Thread or Wi-Fi.
  7. Assign room: Place the sensor in the appropriate room.
  8. Position the sensor: Mount 6-7 feet high in a corner for optimal PIR coverage.

Troubleshooting

  • Not pairing: Ensure battery is properly installed. Reset by removing battery for 10 seconds. Move closer to border router.
