Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Install batteries: Insert AAA batteries into sensor
  2. Download Govee Home app: Install from app store
  3. Create/login to account: Sign into Govee
  4. Add device: Tap "+" → "Home Improvement" → "Water Leak Detector"
  5. Enter pairing mode: Hold button on sensor until LED flashes
  6. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz network credentials
  7. Complete setup: Name the sensor and place it
  8. Position: Place probes where water might leak (under sink, near water heater)
