Step-by-Step Setup
- Plan Your Layout: Measure and plan where the light strip will go. The 2m strip can be extended with 1m extensions.
- Clean Surface: Wipe down the mounting area to remove dust for best adhesion.
- Connect to Controller: Attach the lightstrip to the included controller/power adapter.
- Plug In: Connect the power adapter to an outlet. The strip will light up.
- Download LIFX App: Get the LIFX app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create Account: Sign up or log into your LIFX account.
- Add Lightstrip: Tap "Add Lights" - the app will search for the strip's Wi-Fi signal.
- Connect to Network: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and enter the password.
- Apply to Surface: Peel the adhesive backing and press the strip onto your surface.
- Customize: Use the app to set colors, zones, and effects.

Troubleshooting
- Strip not found: Ensure strip is powered. New strips create a temporary Wi-Fi hotspot for setup.
- Won't connect to Wi-Fi: Must use 2.4GHz network. 5GHz not supported.
- Reset the strip: Turn power off and on 5 times with 1-second intervals until it flashes.
- Zones not working: Update firmware in LIFX app. Zone control requires latest firmware.
- Adhesive failing: Surface must be clean and dry. Use mounting clips for extra support.
