Installing Your Aqara Smart Wall Switch H1 (No Neutral)

What You'll Need

• Aqara Smart Wall Switch H1 (No Neutral)
• Aqara Hub (required)
• Screwdriver
• Smartphone with Aqara Home app
• Minimum 3W LED or 16W fluorescent load per switch

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for the switch.
2. Remove existing switch: Unscrew and disconnect wires.
3. Identify wires: Live wire (usually red) connects to L terminal. Load wires connect to L1, L2, or L3.
4. Wire the switch: Connect live wire to L hole. Connect load wire(s) to L1/L2/L3 holes.
5. Mount switch: Use included screws to secure in wall box or gang frame.
6. Attach cover panel: Snap the switch panel into place.
7. Restore power: Turn breaker back on.
8. Set up Aqara Hub: If not already done, add hub to Aqara Home app.
9. Add switch: In app, tap "+", select switch, and follow pairing instructions.

Troubleshooting

• Light flickering when off: Load may be below minimum (3W LED). Use higher wattage bulb or add Aqara bypass.

• 2-way setup issues: If replacing one switch in 2-way circuit, short-circuit the other switch or use wireless switch.
• Hub required: This Zigbee switch requires an Aqara Hub to function.
