Installing Your ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium

What You'll Need

• ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium
• ecobee app (iOS or Android)
• Wi-Fi network
• Compatible HVAC system
• Power Extender Kit (if no C-wire)

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off HVAC power at breaker
2. Remove old thermostat:
   • Photograph wiring
   • Label wires
3. Install backplate:
   • Connect wires to terminals
   • Mount and level
4. No C-wire? Install included Power Extender Kit
5. Attach thermostat
6. Restore power
7. Follow on-screen setup:
   • Connect to Wi-Fi
   • Create ecobee account
   • Configure settings
