What You'll Need
- Google Nest Doorbell (Wired, 2nd Gen)
- Existing doorbell wiring (8-24V AC transformer)
- Smartphone with Google Home app
- Google account

Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn Off Power: Switch off the circuit breaker for your existing doorbell.
- Download Google Home App: Install and sign in with your Google account.
- Start Setup in App: Tap (+) > Set up device > New device. Select your home.
- Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code on the back of the doorbell before mounting.
- Remove Old Doorbell: Disconnect wires from your existing doorbell.
- Connect Wires: Attach the doorbell wires to the terminals on the Nest Doorbell.
- Mount Doorbell: Use the included mounting plate and screws to secure the doorbell.
- Restore Power: Turn the circuit breaker back on. The doorbell will light up.
- Complete Setup: Follow in-app prompts to connect to Wi-Fi and configure settings.

Troubleshooting
- Doorbell not powering on: Verify transformer voltage (8-24V AC). Check circuit breaker.
- Chime compatibility: Some mechanical chimes may need a compatibility adapter.
- Wi-Fi issues: Move router closer or consider a Wi-Fi extender near the door.
- Must use Google Home app: Nest app is not compatible with 2nd gen doorbell.
- Factory reset: Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
