Installing Your Inovelli Fan + Light Switch (Z-Wave)

What You'll Need

• Inovelli Fan + Light Switch (LZW36)
• Inovelli Canopy Module (included)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Voltage tester
• Z-Wave hub (SmartThings, Hubitat, Home Assistant)
• Neutral wire required

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for fan circuit.
2. Install canopy module first: Open ceiling fan canopy. Wire the module between power and fan.
3. Wire canopy module: Connect Line, Neutral, Ground. Connect fan motor to Fan output, light to Light output.
4. Close canopy: Secure the module and close the fan canopy.
5. Install wall switch: Remove existing switch. Wire the Inovelli switch with Line, Neutral, and Ground.
6. Mount switch: Secure and attach wall plate.
7. Restore power: Turn breaker back on.
8. Pair switch and canopy: They auto-pair via RF. If not, follow manual pairing.
9. Add to Z-Wave hub: Include the switch in your Z-Wave network.

Troubleshooting
