Step-by-Step Setup

Download Wyze app: Install from App Store or Google Play and log into your account.
Check door specs: Door thickness: 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". Deadbolt hole: 2-1/8" diameter.
Remove existing deadbolt: Unscrew and remove your current deadbolt from both sides.
Install mounting plate: Use the included adapter and mounting plate for your door.
Attach exterior keypad: Position the fingerprint/keypad assembly outside the door.
Secure interior assembly: Connect interior unit with metal plate and screws.
Install batteries: Insert 4 AA batteries and secure the cover.
Add device in Wyze app: Tap +, select Home > Wyze Lock Bolt.
Enter pairing mode: Press and hold the "P" button under the batteries until 3 beeps and white flash.
Create access code: Set up a 4-8 digit code for keypad entry.
Register fingerprint: Complete 8 finger scans within 40 seconds, rotating finger slightly each time.

Fingerprint not recognized: Clean scanner and fingertip. Re-register if skin is dry/coarse.
Keypad not responding: Check battery level. Remove and reinstall one battery to reboot.
Pairing timeout: Ensure Bluetooth is on. Stay close to lock during setup.
Lock alarm triggering: Check door alignment. Disable alarm sensitivity in app if needed.
