Button Won't Pair

Bluetooth pairing issues:

  • Flic app: Use Flic app to pair buttons
  • Bluetooth: Enable Bluetooth on phone
  • Press button: Hold Flic button until LED blinks
  • Close proximity: Keep phone very close during pairing
  • Flic Hub: For best reliability, use Flic Hub LR

Flic 2 vs Flic Hub

Understanding connectivity options:

  • Phone only: Buttons can connect to phone directly
  • Flic Hub: Hub provides always-on connectivity
  • Hub LR: Long Range hub for better coverage
  • Background app: Phone needs Flic app running for direct mode

Actions Not Triggering

When button presses don't work:

  • Range: Button must be in Bluetooth range
  • App running: Flic app must be running (without hub)
  • Action configured: Check action is properly set up
  • Internet: Many actions require internet connection
  • Hub online: If using hub, verify it's connected

Flic Twist

For Flic Twist dial:

  • Rotate: Rotate for dimming or volume
  • Click: Press for on/off or other action
  • Sensitivity: Adjust rotation sensitivity in app
  • Integration: Works with many smart home platforms

  • Single click: Quick press and release
  • Double click: Two quick presses
  • Hold: Press and hold
