Igloohome Smart Lock Not Connecting or Unlocking

Igloohome smart locks work offline with PIN codes and Bluetooth. This guide covers access and connectivity issues.

Lock Initial Setup

1. Download igloohome app
2. Create account and add lock
3. Bluetooth must be enabled
4. Stand within 10 feet of lock
5. Follow in-app pairing steps

Offline PIN Codes

1. Algos PINs work without WiFi/Bluetooth
2. Generate codes in app for guests
3. Codes can be time-limited
4. Works when lock is completely offline
5. Based on synchronized time

Bluetooth Not Connecting

1. Check Bluetooth enabled on phone
2. Stand within 10 feet of lock
3. Close and reopen igloohome app
4. Check battery level (4x AA)
5. Remove and re-pair if needed

Keypad Not Responding

1. Wake keypad by touching any button
2. Check batteries aren't depleted
3. Clean keypad with dry cloth
4. Enter code then checkmark
5. Master code resets user codes

WiFi Bridge (Optional)

1. Bridge enables remote access
2. Check live lock status anywhere
3. Generate codes remotely
4. View access history
5. Bridge requires separate purchase

Auto-Lock Settings

1. Configure auto-lock timer in app
2. Set delay (10-60 seconds typical)
3. Lock automatically after time expires
4. Disable for manual locking only
5. Door may need proper closure
