The Igloohome Smart Deadbolt 02 is a unique smart lock designed for property managers and Airbnb hosts, featuring the ability to generate and manage PIN codes without requiring an internet connection at the lock. Using Igloohome's algoPIN technology, the lock and server share a synchronized algorithm that generates time-sensitive codes valid only during specified periods. You can create and send PIN codes remotely through the app, and they'll work at the lock even if it has no WiFi or Bluetooth connection to the cloud.

The lock connects via Bluetooth for direct smartphone access, allowing you to unlock with the Igloohome app when in range (approximately 10 meters). PIN codes can be permanent for family members, scheduled for regular housekeepers, or one-time for delivery personnel. Duration-based codes work only during specified check-in and check-out windows, preventing early arrivals or overstays. The Igloohome bridge accessory (sold separately) adds WiFi connectivity for remote unlocking and real-time activity notifications.

The deadbolt features a backlit touchscreen keypad that supports up to 100 PIN codes and includes a physical key backup for emergencies. The lock installs on standard US doors (1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick) and fits most existing deadbolt preparations. Battery life extends up to 9 months on 4 AA batteries with low-battery warnings in the app. The offline PIN generation makes it particularly valuable for rental properties in areas with unreliable internet or for locks in outbuildings without WiFi coverage.
