Legrand Radiant smart switches and dimmers offer WiFi and Matter connectivity. This guide covers common issues.

Switch Won't Connect

Setup issues:

  • My Leviton app: Some use My Leviton app (Legrand partnership)
  • Matter: Matter models pair via Matter QR code
  • 2.4GHz: WiFi models only support 2.4GHz
  • Neutral wire: Most require neutral wire
  • Reset: Multi-tap reset sequence to factory reset

Matter Setup

For Matter-enabled switches:

  • QR code: Scan Matter QR code on device or box
  • Any platform: Add to Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa
  • Thread: Thread models need Thread border router
  • Multi-admin: Can belong to multiple platforms

Dimmer Issues

Dimming problems:

  • LED compatibility: Use dimmable LED bulbs
  • Minimum dim: Set minimum brightness level
  • Buzz: May buzz with certain bulbs
  • Flicker: Adjust low-end trim if flickering

3-Way Installation

Multi-location setups:

  • Compatible: Check 3-way compatibility
  • Wiring: Follow wiring diagrams carefully
  • Companion: May need companion switches

Smart Home Integration

Platform connections:
