LIFX Light Strips Not Lighting or Connecting

Identifying the Issue

If your LIFX Lightstrip (2m Starter Kit) isn't lighting up, shows partial illumination, won't connect to the LIFX app, or displays incorrect colors, determine the specific problem first. Step-by-Step Fixes

Strip Won't Power On

1. Check that the power adapter is firmly plugged into a working outlet. Test the outlet with another device to confirm it has power.
2. Inspect the connection between the power adapter and the controller module. Disconnect and reconnect it firmly.
3. If using a power strip or surge protector, try plugging the adapter directly into a wall outlet to rule out the power strip as the issue.

Strip Won't Connect to WiFi

1. Verify your phone is on a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If your router uses a combined SSID, create a separate 2.4GHz network for setup.
