Bosma Aegis Smart Door Lock

The Bosma Aegis Smart Door Lock is a retrofit smart deadbolt that installs over your existing single-cylinder deadbolt, adding auto-lock, auto-unlock, and remote access capabilities. The lock uses Bluetooth 5.0 for direct smartphone connection and includes a WiFi Gateway bridge that plugs in between your door and router to enable remote access via the Bosma app when you're away from home. Both 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth remain functional, so you can unlock via Bluetooth even during WiFi outages.

Advanced security features include bank-grade AES-128 encryption, a built-in 6-axis sensor (gyroscope and accelerometer) for door ajar alerts, and break-in detection with an automatic siren that triggers while simultaneously notifying you through the app. Auto-unlock uses your phone's location to unlock as you approach, while auto-lock engages when you leave. Guest access codes can be shared with family members and temporary visitors. The lock runs on 4 AA batteries with approximately 6-month life.

Voice control is supported through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing hands-free locking and unlocking commands. The optional Bosma Fingerprint Keypad accessory adds fingerprint and PIN code entry for those who prefer not to rely solely on their smartphone. The app (iOS 11.0+ or Android 8.0+) provides activity logs showing who locked or unlocked the door and when. Installation requires no additional wiring and takes about 10 minutes using the included tools.
