The Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights (100ft) provide professional-grade architectural lighting designed for year-round installation on rooflines, eaves, fences, and other permanent outdoor locations. Unlike temporary string lights, these are meant to be installed once and enjoyed throughout the year, with the ability to change colors and effects for any season, holiday, or occasion through smart control.

The system consists of weatherproof RGBIC LED modules connected by durable cabling, rated IP67 for complete protection against rain, snow, and dust. The anti-UV housing maintains appearance over years of sun exposure, while the operating range of -4°F to 140°F ensures reliable operation in extreme climates. Each module features independent IC control for multi-color effects along the entire length.

Smart connectivity via WiFi and Bluetooth enables extensive customization through the Govee Home app. Over 99 scene modes provide instant access to holiday themes (Christmas, Halloween, July 4th), celebration effects, and everyday ambient lighting. DIY mode allows custom programming of each LED segment, while scheduling automates when effects run. Music sync creates dynamic shows that pulse with audio.

Voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant provides hands-free operation for common commands. Multiple sets can be connected to cover larger homes, with all sections controllable as a unified system. Professional installation is recommended for best results. Note that this original model does not support Matter or HomeKit—the newer Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 model adds Matter support.
