The Eve Aqua Smart Water Controller revolutionizes garden and lawn irrigation with Apple HomeKit integration and Thread connectivity for responsive, reliable control of outdoor water. This third-generation device attaches to standard 3/4-inch outdoor spigots and enables smart scheduling, remote operation, and automation of sprinkler systems, soaker hoses, and drip irrigation without requiring a bridge or hub.

Thread mesh networking capability means Eve Aqua communicates through your existing Thread border router (HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K, or other Thread border routers) for reliable, low-latency control even at significant distances from your home. As a Minimal Thread Device (MTD), it conserves battery power while benefiting from Thread's mesh network range extension through nearby Full Thread Devices like Eve Energy.

The built-in flow meter tracks water consumption in gallons or liters, viewable in the Eve app with historical charts showing usage over time. Create up to seven independent schedules to automate watering for different zones or plants, with duration control ensuring you never over-water. The Apple Home app enables automation based on weather, time, or other triggers.

Eve Aqua requires no cloud account or registration—all intelligence runs locally for complete privacy. Control through Apple Home or Eve app, Siri voice commands, or on-device button. IPX4 water resistance and UV protection handles outdoor conditions, with operation from 39°F to 122°F. Two included AA batteries provide 6-12 months of operation. Matter firmware updates are expected to extend compatibility to other platforms.
