Ring Outdoor Contact Sensor

The Ring Outdoor Contact Sensor is a weather-resistant door and window sensor designed for exterior applications where standard indoor sensors wouldn't survive. Monitor gates, sheds, detached garages, and outdoor storage buildings with the same contact sensing capability as indoor Ring sensors. The rugged housing withstands rain, snow, extreme temperatures, and UV exposure.

The sensor detects when monitored openings are opened or closed, communicating wirelessly with your Ring Alarm Base Station via Z-Wave protocol. Like indoor contact sensors, the two-piece design triggers when the sensor and magnet are separated by more than 1 inch. Weather sealing protects internal electronics while allowing reliable wireless transmission.

Powered by a long-life battery that withstands temperature extremes from -5 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. When triggered with your alarm armed, the sensor activates your security response including sirens, notifications, and monitoring center contact. Use with Alexa for announcements when outdoor areas are accessed. The weatherproof design fills the gap in coverage that standard sensors can't address.
