Step-by-Step Installation
- Charge the SmartShade: Fully charge using the USB cable before installation.
- Download RYSE app: Available for iOS and Android. Create your account.
- Attach to shade chain: Open the SmartShade casing. Loop your existing beaded chain through the gear mechanism.
- Close the casing: Snap the cover back on, ensuring the chain moves freely.
- Position the motor: Mount at the bottom of the shade using the included adhesive or screws.
- Pair with app: In the RYSE app, tap "Add Device" and follow Bluetooth pairing prompts.
- Calibrate: Set the upper and lower limits by moving the shade to each position and saving in the app.
- Set up SmartBridge: For Alexa/Google/HomeKit, connect the RYSE SmartBridge to your router and pair in the app.
- Create schedules: Use the app to set automated open/close times.
