- Orbit B-hyve XR Smart Sprinkler Controller (8-Zone)
- Existing sprinkler system
- B-hyve app on smartphone
- WiFi network (2.4GHz)
- Wire strippers and screwdriver
Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off power: Disconnect power to existing sprinkler controller.
- Document wiring: Take photos of current wire connections.
- Remove old controller: Disconnect and remove existing unit.
- Mount B-hyve XR: Install mounting plate. Controller is weatherproof for outdoor mounting.
- Connect zone wires: Attach each zone wire to numbered terminals 1-8.
- Connect common wire: Attach to COM terminal(s).
- Connect power: Wire AC power or use included transformer.
- Power on: Turn on power. Display illuminates when ready.
- Download B-hyve app: Install from app store and create account.
- Add device: Tap "+" and scan the QR code on controller.
- Connect WiFi: Enter network credentials. Wait for connection confirmation.
- Set up zones: Name zones, select sprinkler types, soil, and plant types.

Troubleshooting

- Schedule not running: Check that schedule is enabled and not in rain delay.
