Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Power off existing controller: Turn off the breaker before disconnecting wires.
  2. Document current wiring: Take photos of your existing wire connections.
  3. Mount B-hyve XR: Install in a protected location. The unit is weather-resistant but not waterproof.
  4. Connect zone wires: Attach zone wires to terminals 1-16. Connect common wires to C terminals.
  5. Connect power: Plug in the transformer or hardwire to 24VAC.
  6. Download B-hyve app: Install on your smartphone.
  7. Create account: Sign up in the app.
  8. Add controller: Tap "+" and select B-hyve XR. Scan the QR code on the device.
