What's in the Box

Inside the Roborock Q Revo Pro package you should find the following items: the Q Revo Pro robot vacuum and mop, the Multifunctional Dock with auto-empty and self-wash capabilities, a power cable, side brushes, dual spinning mopping pads, dust bags, floor cleaning solution, and the quick start guide. Inspect everything for damage before setting up.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, have the following ready:

  • A 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network with a reliable internet connection
  • The Roborock app installed on your iOS or Android device
  • A flat location near a wall outlet for the Multifunctional Dock, with 1.5 feet of clearance on each side and at least 4 feet of open space in front
  • Floors free of small objects, loose cables, and fragile items for the initial mapping run

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Prepare the Multifunctional Dock: Place the dock on a hard, flat surface against a wall. Plug in the power cable. Fill the clean water tank with fresh water and pour Roborock cleaning solution into the solution reservoir. Install a new dust bag in the auto-empty bin.
  2. Unpack and prepare the robot: Remove all protective films, tape, and packaging materials from the Q Revo Pro. Flip the robot over and snap the side brushes into their mounting points. Attach the dual spinning mopping pads to the underside of the unit — they lock on magnetically for easy installation and removal.
  3. Charge the robot: Dock the Q Revo Pro on the Multifunctional Dock. The status LED will blink to indicate charging is in progress. Allow the robot to charge completely before its first run, which typically takes 4 to 5 hours.
  4. Connect via the Roborock app: Open the Roborock app on your phone. Tap "+" to add a new device and select "Roborock Q Revo Pro" from the product list. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the robot with your WiFi. When prompted, press and hold the power button on the robot until it announces that it is in pairing mode.
  5. Map your home: Start a mapping run from the app. The Q Revo Pro uses LiDAR navigation to scan and map your entire floor plan. Keep interior doors open so the robot can access all rooms. The first run focuses on creating an accurate map, so cleaning performance may be lighter than normal.
  6. Customize your cleaning preferences: Once the map is built, open it in the Roborock app. Label each room, set suction power and water flow levels per room, define no-go zones, and mark no-mop areas for carpet. Create scheduled routines to automate daily or weekly cleaning tasks.

Smart Home Integration Tips

The Q Revo Pro works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. To enable voice control, open the Alexa or Google Home app, search for the Roborock skill or integration, and link your Roborock account. After linking, try commands like "Alexa, tell Roborock to vacuum the living room" or "Hey Google, start mopping." For iOS users, configure Siri Shortcuts through the Roborock app to trigger cleaning sessions with custom voice phrases. The Q Revo Pro also supports integration with other smart home routines, so you can have it start cleaning when you leave the house using geofencing triggers.

Quick Troubleshooting

If the robot doesn't show up during app pairing, hold down the power and home buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to reset the WiFi module. Confirm your phone is connected to the same network. If the dock's self-washing or auto-empty functions aren't working correctly, verify that the water tanks are seated properly, the dust bag isn't full, and the cleaning solution reservoir has fluid. After initial setup, check the Roborock app for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and the latest bug fixes.
