What You'll Need
- Aeotec NanoMote Quad
- Z-Wave hub (SmartThings, Hubitat, Home Assistant, etc.)
- Z-Wave network configured
- CR2450 battery (included)
Step-by-Step Setup
- Insert battery: Open the NanoMote and insert CR2450 battery
- Put hub in inclusion mode: Start Z-Wave device pairing
- Include NanoMote: Press any button once
- S2 authentication: If prompted, enter DSK code from device label
- Wait for inclusion: Hub will add the remote
- Configure buttons: Set up actions for each of the 4 buttons
- Create associations: Associate with Z-Wave devices for direct control
- Attach to surface: Use included mount or carry as remote

Troubleshooting
- Won't include: Exclude first by pressing button during exclusion mode
- Multi-tap not working: Ensure hub supports Z-Wave Central Scene
- Short range: Battery-powered devices have reduced range. Include closer to hub
- Button unresponsive: Check battery level
- Factory reset: Press and hold any button for 20+ seconds
