What You'll Need
- Hunter Hydrawise Pro-HC Controller
- Screwdriver
- Existing valve wiring
- Smartphone with Hydrawise app
- Wi-Fi network
Step 1: Mount the Controller
Choose an indoor location protected from weather. Mount securely to the wall using provided hardware.
Step 2: Connect Wiring
Connect your zone valve wires to the numbered terminals. Connect the common wire to the C terminal.
Step 3: Power On
Plug in the controller. It will power up and display setup instructions.
Step 4: Create Hydrawise Account
Download the Hydrawise app and create an account at hydrawise.com.
Step 5: Connect to Wi-Fi
Follow the app or controller prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 6: Configure Zones
Set up each zone with plant type, soil type, sprinkler type, and sun exposure for smart watering calculations.
