Step-by-Step Setup

Charge the battery: Connect USB-C and charge fully before installing.
Measure and plan: Measure the window opening. Mark bracket positions ensuring they're level.
Install brackets: Drill pilot holes and secure mounting brackets with included screws.
Insert battery: Slide the battery pack into the motor compartment until it clicks.
Mount the blind: Click the blind assembly into the brackets. Test by hand that it's secure.
Test motor function: Use the buttons on the motor to verify up/down movement.
Open IKEA Home Smart app: Navigate to device setup.
Pair to hub: Press the pairing button on the motor. Follow app prompts.
Calibrate: Set open and closed positions in the app.
Create schedules: Set up sunrise/sunset automations for energy efficiency.

Blind won't move: Verify battery is charged and inserted correctly. Test motor buttons directly.
Cellular pleats not even: This is usually cosmetic. Ensure blind isn't binding on sides during movement.
Pairing fails: Move closer to DIRIGERA hub. Ensure hub has available device slots. Reset motor.
Insulation not effective: Ensure blind fits window opening properly with minimal gaps.
Motor sounds strained: Check for obstructions. Ensure mounting is straight. Don't force past limits.
