Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert batteries: Install 2 AAA batteries
  2. Open IKEA Home app: Ensure hub is connected
  3. Add accessory: Tap "+" → "Motion sensor"
  4. Enter pairing mode: Press pairing button (inside battery compartment) 4 times quickly
  5. Wait for discovery: Sensor will appear in app
  6. Assign to lights: Choose which lights the sensor controls
  7. Configure behavior: Set daytime/nighttime and duration settings
  8. Mount: Use magnetic mount or included screw mount
