What You'll Need

  • Lutron Aurora Smart Bulb Dimmer

  • Existing toggle light switch

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Turn off power: Turn off the light at the existing switch
  2. Install Aurora: Fit the Aurora over your existing toggle switch. It clips on magnetically
  3. Turn power back on: The switch is now locked in the "on" position
  4. Open Hue app: Go to Settings → Accessories → "Add accessory"
  5. Add Aurora: The app will search for the Aurora
  6. Press Aurora button: Press the center to help discovery
  7. Assign to room: Select which Hue lights the Aurora controls
  8. Test rotation: Rotate to dim, press to toggle on/off

Troubleshooting

  • Rotation doesn't dim: Verify bulbs are assigned to Aurora in Hue app
  • Factory reset: Remove battery, press button 5 times, reinsert battery
