Step-by-Step Setup

Ensure base station is set up: Ring Alarm Base Station must be online
Open Ring app: Go to Devices → Add Device → Security Devices
Select Motion Detector: Choose "Motion Detector"
Pull battery tab: Remove isolation tab to power on
Wait for discovery: Base station will find the detector
Name and place: Give it a name and select location
Configure settings: Adjust motion sensitivity if needed
Mount: Use corner mount or flat wall mount (included)
