How to Set Up Your SimpliSafe Key Fob

What You'll Need

  • SimpliSafe Key Fob
  • SimpliSafe Base Station (required)
  • SimpliSafe app (iOS/Android)
  • Active SimpliSafe system

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Open SimpliSafe app: Log into your SimpliSafe account
  2. Go to Settings: Navigate to "My System" → "Add Device"
  3. Select Key Fob: Choose "Key Fob" from device list
  4. Put Key Fob in pairing mode: Press and hold the panic button until LED flashes
  5. Base Station will detect: Wait for confirmation
  6. Name the Key Fob: Assign it to a specific person
  7. Test buttons: Try Arm Home, Arm Away, and Off buttons
