How to Set Up Your SwitchBot Hub Mini

  • USB cable and power adapter

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Position the hub: Place centrally with clear line of sight to IR devices
  2. Connect power: Plug in via the USB cable
  3. Download SwitchBot app: Install from App Store or Google Play
  4. Create account: Sign up for a SwitchBot account
  5. Add Hub Mini: Tap "+" → Select "Hub Mini"
  6. Follow pairing process: The hub's LED will flash during setup
  7. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz network credentials
  8. Add IR devices: Tap the hub, then "Add Appliance" to add TVs, ACs, etc.
  9. Link SwitchBot devices: Hub Mini enables cloud access for all SwitchBot devices

Troubleshooting

  • IR range limited: Hub Mini is compact. Position within 6 meters of devices

  • Learning IR fails: Point original remote at the hub from 2-3 inches away
  • Can't control when away: Verify hub is online. Check Wi-Fi connection
  • Factory reset: Press and hold the button on Hub Mini for 15 seconds
