Hub Setup Issues

  1. PowerView Hub connects via ethernet or WiFi
  2. Use PowerView app for setup
  3. Hub must be on same network as phone
  4. Update firmware via app
  5. Factory reset: Hold button 10 seconds

Blind Not Responding

  1. Check blind batteries or power wand
  2. Rechargeable batteries via wand charger
  3. Hardwired blinds check transformer
  4. Move blind closer to hub/repeater
  5. Re-pair blind if disconnected

Repeater for Range

  1. PowerView Repeater extends signal
  2. Place between hub and distant blinds
  3. Multiple repeaters for large homes
  4. Powered blinds also act as repeaters
  5. Radio range is approximately 30 feet

Scheduling Automations

  1. Create schedules in PowerView app
  2. Time-based or sunrise/sunset triggers
  3. Scenes for multi-blind presets
  4. Schedules run locally on hub
  5. Work even without internet

HomeKit Integration

  1. PowerView 3 required for HomeKit
  2. Older Gen 2 hubs need upgrade
  3. Each blind appears as window covering
  4. Scenes and automations in Home app
  5. Works with other HomeKit devices

Home Assistant Integration

  1. PowerView integration available
  2. Add hub by IP address
  3. Each blind creates cover entity
  4. Scenes importable from PowerView
  5. Local polling for status updates
