Common Symptoms
- Shade not responding to commands

Power and Battery
Check Battery Status
- View battery level in Lutron app
- Shade uses internal rechargeable or D-cell batteries
- Replace or recharge when level is low
Recharging (Rechargeable Models)
- Locate charging port on shade headrail
- Connect Lutron charging cable
- Charge until indicator shows full
- Typically takes 6-8 hours for full charge
Battery Replacement (Battery-Powered)
- Remove shade from brackets if needed
- Open battery compartment in headrail
- Replace D-cell batteries (usually 6)
- Use high-quality alkaline batteries
Shade Not Moving
1. Check for Obstructions
- Ensure nothing is blocking shade path
- Check fabric isn't caught or tangled
- Verify mounting brackets aren't loose
2. Manual Operation
- Try controlling via physical buttons on headrail (if equipped)
- If manual works, issue is wireless communication
- If manual doesn't work, check battery/power
3. Verify Caseta Connection
- Check shade appears in Lutron app
- Verify bridge is online

Position Limits
Shade Not Reaching Top/Bottom
