Step-by-Step Setup

Assemble the dock: Place base unit against wall. Attach clean water tank (left) and dirty water tank (right).
Connect dock power: Plug in the dock. Indicator lights illuminate when powered.
Fill clean water tank: Fill with clean water. Optionally add Roborock cleaning solution.
Prepare robot: Remove protective films. Install side brush if not attached.
Dock the robot: Place robot on dock. It powers on and announces readiness.
Download Roborock app: Install and create an account or log in.
Add device: Tap "+" > "Add device" > "Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra."
Connect WiFi: Press and hold the two dock buttons until you hear "Ready for WiFi setup." Follow app prompts.
Create map: Start a quick mapping run. The robot builds a detailed floor plan.
Configure cleaning: Set suction levels, mop intensity, and room schedules in the app.

Robot won't dock: Clean charging contacts. Ensure dock area is clear and well-lit.
Mop not clean after wash: Check dirty water tank isn't full. Run dock self-clean cycle.
Obstacle avoidance too sensitive: Adjust ReactiveAI sensitivity in app settings.
WiFi setup fails: Use 2.4GHz network only. Stand close to robot during setup.
Missing areas on map: Ensure robot can access all rooms. Delete and remap if needed.
