How to Set Up Your Bond Bridge

What You'll Need

  • Bond Bridge (or Bond Bridge Pro)
  • Bond Home app (iOS/Android)
  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
  • Bond account
  • Original remote for your fan/fireplace

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Position the Bond: Place with clear line of sight to devices (within 20 feet for IR, farther for RF)
  2. Connect power: Plug in via USB
  3. Download Bond Home app: Install and create account
  4. Add Bond Bridge: Tap "+" → "Set Up New Bond"
  5. Connect to Bond Wi-Fi: Join "BOND-XXXX" network temporarily
  6. Enter your Wi-Fi credentials: Bond will connect to your network
  7. Add devices: Tap "+" → "Ceiling Fan" (or other device type)
  8. Search database or learn: Try database first, then learn from original remote
