What You'll Need

  • IKEA DIRIGERA Hub
  • Ethernet cable (included)
  • USB-C power cable and adapter (included)
  • Router with available LAN port
  • Smartphone with IKEA Home smart app (iOS 16.4+ or Android 10+)

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download IKEA Home Smart App: Install from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Connect Ethernet: Plug the Ethernet cable from the DIRIGERA hub to your router.
  3. Power On: Connect the USB-C power cable to the hub and adapter. Plug into an outlet.
  4. Wait for Startup: The ring light will fill while booting. Wait for a soft white pulse indicating ready.
  5. Open App: Launch the IKEA Home smart app and tap "Get started."
  6. Select Region: Choose your region and accept terms and conditions.
  7. Locate Hub: The app will find your DIRIGERA hub and apply software updates.
  8. Press Action Button: When prompted, press the Action button on the bottom of the hub.
  9. Name Your Hub: Enter a name for your hub and add rooms to your home.
