Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert battery: Open the back cover and insert the CR2032 battery
  2. Open IKEA Home app: Make sure your hub is connected
  3. Add accessory: Tap "+" → "Add accessory" → "Remote control"
  4. Put remote in pairing mode: Press the pairing button (inside battery compartment) 4 times within 5 seconds
  5. Wait for pairing: The remote should appear in the app
  6. Assign lights: Choose which lights or rooms the remote controls
  7. Test buttons: Verify all buttons work as expected
