Step-by-Step Setup
- Install batteries: Open the back cover and insert the included batteries. The LED will flash to confirm power.
- Open SwitchBot app: Tap "+" and select "Motion Sensor" from the device list.
- Activate pairing: Press and hold the button on the sensor for 3 seconds. The LED flashes rapidly when in pairing mode.
- Select your hub: Choose your SwitchBot Hub to connect the motion sensor to your network.
- Configure detection: Set the detection sensitivity (High, Medium, Low) based on your room size.
- Enable Matter: Go to sensor settings, tap "Matter Setup," and choose your platform.
- Add to platform: Scan the Matter QR code with your Apple Home, Google Home, or Alexa app.
- Position the sensor: Mount at 1.2-2.4m height, angled slightly downward. Use the included stand or adhesive mount.

Troubleshooting
- No motion detected: Check sensor orientation and ensure nothing is blocking the lens. Clean lens with soft cloth.
- Too many false triggers: Lower sensitivity setting. Avoid pointing at windows, heating vents, or moving objects.
- Sensor offline: Verify hub connection. Move sensor closer to hub if signal is weak.
- Matter not responding: Restart the hub. Check that all devices are on the same network.
- Battery life shorter than expected: High sensitivity and frequent motion events drain battery faster.
